The European project DOIT suggests how Europe can step up and make early-stage entrepreneurship education for young people more practice-based and effective. The suggested approach is empowering 6 to 16 years old children and youth to co-create solutions for social and environmental issues together with facilitators. The DOIT learning programme spans and integrates three facets:

• Social Innovation: we see young people as engaged citizens, who can tackle societal issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Entrepreneurial Education: The DOIT toolbox materials support the development of entrepreneurial mindsets and skills, as well as social businesses through direct learning experiences.
• Makerspace and Digital Fabrication Tools: DOIT builds upon open workshops with digital tools and maker education as a core.
